The 2811 TravelAbout is designed for all-purpose residential or institutional use by adults. FRAME: The frame is lightweight, when folded the wheelchair is 10 inches wide. The frame is constructed of heavy square steel x-brace that permits use by obese individuals. The Travel About frame is 20 inches wide. SEAT: Seat-to-floor height is 18 inches, seat width 18 inches, back height 15 inches. UPHOLSTERY: The upholstery is embossed with textilene inner liner, brown is the standard color. However, 18 additional upholstery colors are available. ARMRESTS: The padded cushion vinyl armrests are removalable. Also, available upon request are removalable full and desk length arms. BRAKE: Lever style brake. CASTERS: Front swivel, Uni-Mold Mag Composite 8-inch casters. FOOTRESTS: The standard footrests hook-on with aluminum footplates. Elevating legrests with cushoned contoured calf pad are optional. CAPACITY: Maximum user weight is 350 pounds. WEIGHT: 25 pounds.
