(Verified 06/2007) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Children's Modular Orthotic Seating System is an attendant propelled wheelchair base for seating systems. A hand operated recline adjustment lever adjusts seat angle from 0 to 27 degrees. Hand operated rear brakes are adjustable to compensate for tire wear. The base collapses to an overall height, excluding seat, of 12 inches. Custom made seating systems with flat bottomed bases can be mounted to the base. The MOSS II features front mounted casters, and accommodates Otto Bock Childrens Modular Orthotic Seating System (see separate entry). Adult wheelbase features both front or rear mounted casters, and accommodates 16 inch and 18 inch Otto Bock Adult Modular Orthotic Seating System. DIMENSIONS: 22.5 inches wide; height from floor to base is 20.5 inches; push handle height from floor to top cross bar is 40.5 inches.
