Picture of WHEELCHAIR DROP-SEAT (SERIES 7041) The Wheeelchair Drop-Seat is a solid seat insert designed to lower the height of wheelchair seats to enable self-propulsion or to enable the user to reach the footplates to stop sliding. This seat can be used with standard or hemi chairs and lowers the center of gravity, making the chair less likely to tip. The Drop-Seat includes a choice of a foam or gel and foam Ultra Wedge or Ultra Cushion (see separate entries) equipped with side cutouts to accommodate the wheechair crossbars. OPTIONS: The cushions are also available with a weight sensor and integral alarm to alert caregivers when the user is leaving the chair or sliding.ORTIONS: The cushions may also be ordered as an alarm cushion. DIMENSIONS: The seat is available for 16- or 18-inch chairs. The cushions are offered in heights of 2.5, 3, or 3.5 inches.

Notes: The manufacturer states that standard cushions cannot be used with this seat.
