--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 07/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Modular positioning and travel chair for children and young adults. Vinyl upholstered seat and high back. Hinged seat allows adjustable hip flexion. Adjustable footrest, length and elevation. Chrome-plated frame. Rear 8-inch wheels, front 3-inch casters, rear wheels retract for chair to be used as car seat with auto safety belt. Four position recline mechanism. Hip belt. Options: headrests, head halo, scoliosis pads, torso strap, knee abductor, lapboard, shoulder harness. Three sizes: seat widths, 12 1/2, 15 or 16 1/4 inches. Models fit children 3 to 8 years, 8 to 14 years or junior adult. Overall width, 18 or 21 inches. Weights: 40, 45 or 55 pounds. TAC 400 has adjustable back and 3 1/2 inch pommel as standard equipment; TAC 500 may be equipped with the pommel or wedge type knee abductor; TAC 700 has padded arms; all models except TAC 700 may be equipped with an adjustable back.
