Victor Reader Wave is a digital talking book player designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision or learning disabilities. This device plays DAISY format digital talking books, as well as MP3s and music CDs, and includes variable speed playback with auto-pitch compensation. It has a compact clamshell shape with a telephone-style keypad and tactile zones to aid users in identifying controls, and includes both audio and visual indicators for reading position (book title and section headings), volume and speed, and battery level.
