(Verified 05/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- PROTALK Version 3.0 is a voice output screen reader program designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. PROTALK version 3.0 applies real time multitasking and artificial intelligence to screen reading. Text and data can be entered in the transparent Review mode without freezing time- dependent application functions like auto save, disk compression, file printing from disk, file transfer, network access, up and down loading, etc. PROTALK version 3.0 automatically detects pop up and over laying windows, tables, columns, cells, highlighted bars, reveal codes, spell checking, screen size changes, etc. When running, the program occupies less than 12K in memory. COMPATIBILITY: For use with all IBM AT, PS2, and 100 percent compatible 386 and 486 computers with most internal and external speech synthesizers. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: 640K, DOS 3.3 or higher, a hard drive and 1 floppy drive.
