--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/94) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Note A Braille takes meeting notes and saves them in RAM memory on IBM compatible or Apple computers. Notes are converted from braille into ASCII as they are loaded. Computer can be used to edit, print or read the notes. Text to speech device can be used. Dimensions: 7 1/2 inches by 4 inches by 1 1/2 inches. Comes with parallel to serial converter with AC adapter, serial interface cable, communication software, earphone, battery, instruction diskette and carrying case. Grade I or Grade II Braille can be used for data input, but bi-directional translation software is required for Grade II conversion. Battery life minimum of one mopnth. Audible clicks heard with each keystroke and begin to occur with every other keystroke as the limit of RAM is approached.
