Picture of MAGNILINK AUTOFOCUS MODEL 709X The Magnilink Autofocus is a desktop CCTV or video magnifier designed for use by persons who have low vision. When an object is placed on the reading table of the unit, the machine focuses immediately on the object and displays its enlarged image on a color monitor. The autofocus feature works for objects up to 4.5 inches in thickness. The user may also choose manual focusing by flipping a switch. Magnified objects can be displayed either in their true colors or in artificial colors chosen by the user. The user can switch the display between positive (light background, dark text) and negative (dark background, light text) images. A reference line aids users in keeping their place when reading. POWER: Uses 130 watts. OPTIONS: 14-inch monitor (3x to 39x magnification range), 17-inch monitor (3.5x to 45x magnification range), or 21-inch monitor (4.5x to 60x magnification range). DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): With 17-inch monitor, 27.6 x 19.7 x 18.1 inches. The free working height between the tray and camera is 6.7 inches. The reading table (LxW) is 11.8 x 16.5 inches. WEIGHT: With 17-inch monitor, 30 kilograms.
