This portable talking personal digital assistant (PDA) for braille users has input through a seven-key braille keyboard, and output in synthetic DoubleTalk speech, braille, or print. Functions include a word processor; appointment book; talking clock; countdown timer; stopwatch; phone directory; and basic, scientific, and graphing calculators. The device has an ear phone port, a power port, and two RS-232 serial ports. It comes with reference guides in braille and print, a tutorial audiocassette, a CD-ROM manual with a variety of format options, WinDisc and WinPrint software, a leather carrying case, and ear buds. OPTIONS: Serial interface cable (model 1-07319-00); parallel printer cable (model 1-07318-00); ImageWriter cable (model 1-07317-00). POWER: Uses a rechargeable battery (included).
