(Verified 9/2012) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Schedule Assistant is software for a personal digital assistant (PDA) designed to be a cognitive aid and prompter for use by individuals with cognitive disabilities or brain injury. Any number of appointments or events can be entered into this PDA-based multimedia scheduling program by recording an audio message and designating the day(s) and time(s) for the message to activate. A relevant digital picture or icon can also be displayed with the message. The combination of time-based audio messages and picture cues can be used for meeting bus schedules, medication reminders, taking work breaks, maintaining classroom schedules, or morning routines. The Schedule Assistant is sold as standalone software or with a dedicated PDA that is pre-loaded with the software. COMPATIBILITY: The software requires a PDA with the PocketPC operating system. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: A compact flash memory card slot and a color touch screen.
