(Verified 12/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The AC500 Ramp System is a modular ramp designed to remove architectural barriers for individuals who use a wheelchair or have trouble climbing up and down stairs. The ramps are manufactured in modular track sections and are custom engineered to fit any configuration, no matter how unusual. Installation can be completed in hours, rather than days, and the ramps are easily disassembled for moving to different locations. The AC500 series features pre-cast high strength concrete panels which form the ramp surface. The metal used in the construction of the ramps is made of heavy gauge galvanized curb shapes and galvanized support columns to ensure their long life and low maintainence. These ramps are suitable for indoor or outdoor use. The system includes ramp supports, landings, railings. OPTIONS: Available as options are swivel mount base plates, baluster rail design, stair riser units, skirting to enclose are beneath ramp, portable aluminum styles. For surface, besides consrete, options include fiberglass grating, wood planking,or treated non-skid plywood. DIMENSIONS: Hand rails are 1.5 inches (38 mm) round. COLOR: Custom colors to compliment the facility.
