MyTalkTools Mobile Lite is a direct selection and symbolic communicator program designed for use by individuals with communication, learning, or speech disabilities or autism. This program enables an Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to function as an alternative and augmentative communication (AAC) system for people who cannot speak or have difficulty speaking. The user chooses the content (grids or boards with images) and plays recorded sounds by touching a cell. Touching a sequence of cells will form a complete sentence. The user can also personalize the boards by using images he or she creates. MyTalkTools Mobile Lite's storage capacity is limited to 20 cells. The program includes a 30-day trial of the MyTalk Workspace web application which allows the user to add, edit or select items directly from the web and to back up his or her MyTalkTools content by synching using wireless Internet access or 3G coverage. OPTIONS: After the 30-day trial of MyTalkTools, monthly, annual and 3-year subscriptions are available. COMPATIBILTIY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.2 or later.
