Picture of SMALLTALK PHONEMES SmallTalk Phonemes is a speech training program designed for use by people with speech or communication disabilities and by occupational and speech therapists working with people with these disabilities. This application (or app) allows a person to use their Apple iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad to practice the English phonemes. The manufacturer recommends this program for people with apraxia, aphasia or dysarthria resulting from stroke or head injury. The app contains a series of speech-exercise videos, each illustrating the tongue and lip movements necessary to produce each of the phonemes in the English language. The user can focus on just the phonemes he or she wants to practice and repeat them as many times as he or she would like because each exercise comes as an individual video. Videos can be rearranged and deleted. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 3.0 or later.

Notes: This product is sold through the App Store on Apple iTunes. ** iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and iTunes are registered trademarks of Apple Inc. ** SmallTalk Phonemes is a registered trademark of Lingraphica.
