The Fun & Learn Phonics Desk is a pre-reading tutorial program designed for use by children between three and seven years of age with cognitive and learning disabilities. The unit uses incorporates touch, sight. and, sound to teach the alphabet, phonics, spelling, rhyming, and introductory reading skills. The set includes the desk with card storage space, 17 Talking Word Cards, four Talking Game Cards, and 26 removable magnetic letters. Children can press a letter to hear its name or use the cards by by placing the letters in the card and pressing them to hear their phonic sounds. Placing the letters on the card in the proper order completes a word and playful frogs pop up as a reward. The four Talking Game Cards reinforce letter and phonics skills while introducing rhyming, story building, and more. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (included).
