Picture of INVACARE IVC 9000 TOPAZ WHEELCHAIR The Invacare IVC 9000 Topaz is a folding bariatric adult manual wheelchair designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. FRAME: Triple chrome-plated, carbon steel frame. Options include an oxygen carrier, telescoping IV rod, and a crutch/cane carrier. SEAT (LxW): 18 or 20 x 20 to 30 inches in 2 inch increments. The floor-to-seat height is 15.5, 17.5, or 19.5 depending on wheel and caster package. UPHOLSTERY: Black or blue vinyl or nylon. The upholstery is flame retardant and resistant to bacteria, mold, cold cracking, and UV damage. ARMRESTS: Full- or desk-length, fixed or adjustable-height, removable padded arms. BRAKES: Toggle push or pull wheel locks. CASTERS: The 700 pound model has 6 x 2 inch Urethane or 8 x 1.75 inch semi-pneumatic casters. The 1,000 pound model has 8 x 2 inch casters. WHEELS: The 700 pound model has 24-inch solid or 20-inch pneumatic tires with flat-free inserts and chrome steel or aluminum handrims. The 1,000 pound model has 24-inch solid tires and aluminum handrims. FOOTRESTS: Swing-away footrest or swing-away padded elevating legrests. CAPACITY: 700 pounds with the option of 1,000 pounds. WEIGHT: The 700 pound model weighs 82 pounds. The 1,000 pound model weighs 86 pounds.
