Pocket & Tails Go Exploring is a cognitive and perceptual skills training program designed to teach alphabet, numbers, shapes and colors for individuals with a cognitive or physical disability. Two Wanderoos lead students into a learning plaufround where the sights and sounds of the world are brought to life. As students explore, they learn about the environment, plants, water life, animal habitats, mountains, fields, wetlands, glaciers, transportation and locomotion. Students can fill a multimedia journal with pictures, movies, sound and notes, and print its pages to share with others. The program features both a CD-ROM game with three difficulty levels and four original educational songs. It also includes a read along story book and can are TouchWindow accessible (see separate entry). COMPATIBILTY: Macintosh and IBM/compatibles. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Macintosh: LC or better; System 7.0 or higher; 4 MB RAM; hard drive; CD-ROM drive; 256 color monitor. Optional: TouchWindow. IBM/Compatible: Windows 3.0 with multimedia support or 3.1 or higher; 256 color VGA; 386 PC or better; hard disk; 4 MB RAM; Optional: TouchWindow.
