The Pride Elegance 3-Position Full Recline Wide Chaise Lounger, model LC-570W, is a seat lift chair and recliner designed for use by individuals with lower extremity and mobility disabilities. The chair portion is made of a laminate hardwood frame and the lift mechanism has a steel frame. This chair offers comfort seating utilizing a spring design and one-piece soft foam seat for added relaxation. It features 3-way full recline positioning and a lift mechanism that facilitates standing and sitting. Both recline and lift mechanisms are controlled by a push-button hand control connected to the chair by a cord. The built-in heavy-duty lift actuator can raise the chair and lean it forward and a scissor mechanism controls the reclining functions. Other features include standard fire retardant head and arm covers, large dual side pockets, and a removable blown fiber pillow back. The unit comes with a transformer that features self-diagnostic electronics with a 12-inch cord. POWER: Uses household current, and it has a built-in battery back-up that allows the chair to return to the sitting position in the event of a power outage. The battery back-up requires 2 9-volt batteries (not included). OPTIONS: Available with heat and massage, head pillow, lumbar pillow and footrest extension (not included). DIMENSIONS: The user height range is from 64 to 72 inches. The overall chair width is 40 inches; the distance from the seat to floor is 20 inches; the seat depth is 20 inches and the seat width is 24 inches. The top of the seat back extends 26.5 inches from the seat. The seat should be placed 19 inches from the wall to allow space for the reclining function. CAPACITY: 375 pounds. WEIGHT: 117 pounds.
