The Foot Lift Assist is an ankle foot orthosis designed to prevent foot drop when used by individuals with stroke, multiple sclerosis, ankle-foot dorsiflexion, or neurological, lower extremity, or walking disabilities. This device helps the user walk by providing additional lift for the leg and foot once the user has begun the lifting process. A belt, to be used with belt loops, forms the anchor for the lifting process. The belt is reinforced at the hip site (or sites if lifts are worn on both legs) to provide an attachment at the top end of the lift cord. The cord is elastic and fastens to the belt. The cord has a buckle that allows the user to adjust the amount of lift needed. The lower end of the elastic cord snaps to a small customized foot harness. The foot harness is measured to fit the user's shoe(s) and has a small rubber brake to maintain its position on the outside of the shoe, and a small snap for opening and closing. OPTIONS: Customized padded belt. WARRANTY: 30 day trial with full money back guarantee.
Notes: Shipping and handling charges are not included in the purchase price listed.
