Picture of SELF-OPENING NAIL SCISSORS (MODEL SW5203) The Self-Opening Nail Scissors, model SW5203, are self-opening nail scissors designed for use by individuals with fine motor, grasping or upper extremity disabilities or arthritis. Usable with the right or left hand, these lightweight scissors have precision-made stainless steel blades that can be adjusted to cut in any position with a simple squeezing motion using a whole hand grip. The spring band connecting the handles opens the blades when pressure is released. After prolonged or intensive use, the band can be reversed to restore full spring pressure.
