« Previous Product Next Product »Kid Keys is a voice output program designed to introduce and enhance keyboarding and reading skills for students with developmental and physical disabilities. Three activities combine voice, music, graphics, animation and sound to help students progress from learning key positions to typing smoothly and accurately. Students develop letter and word recognition, learn letters and words through the use of speech technology, and develop sequencing skills while taking the first steps in computer literacy. Teacher support materials provide 11 cross-curricular lessons with activities to be completed before, while, and after using the computer. This program is designed to be TouchWindow (see separate entry) accessible for individuals with a physical disability. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh, IBM. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Macintosh: Macintosh System 6.0.7 or higher; 4 MB RAM; hard disk. Optional: TouchWindow. For DOS system: IBM or compatible; 640K; DOS 3.3 or higher; VGA; hard disk; 3.5 inch disk drive; sound card. Optional: TouchWindow.
