The Hearit Personal Listening System, model 550PLSA, is a personal amplification system designed for use by individuals with hearing loss. Designed for use with the Hearit Broadcaster SE systems (see entries), this device enables the user to receive direct in-the-ear enhanced auditory input from an instructor in a classroom setting through a personal receiver/headset in addition to the amplification provided by the classroom speaker. An unlimited number of these receivers can be used simultaneously.
