The Myomonitor Wireless EMG System is an electronic motion evaluation system designed for use in assessing muscular activity. Operating as either a wireless transmitter or an autonomous datalogger, this portable eight- or sixteen-channel EMG unit provides signal recordings in a full EMG bandwidth of 20 to 450 Herz using parallel-bar EMG sensor technology. The lightweight main unit can be worn by children or elderly adults, and can be used in applications requiring unrestricted movement with real-time EMG viewing on a desktop computer. As a wireless transmitter, operating within a 250 meter transmission range, the unit sends EMG data over a wireless local area network (WLAN) to the host computer for real-time display and storage. The unit has 1 GB memory storage, a removable SD flash card for data transfer, and a full color QVGA screen. It accepts EMG and biosignal sensors and integrates with EMGworks software. System components include a wearable main unit; one or two eight-channel input modules with cables; EMGWorks software; a wireless USB receiver; a docking module; and an accessory package with wearable pouch, USB cable, manual, reference EMG sensors, adhesive skin interfaces, and a carrying case. POWER: Uses rechargeable battery. A recharger is included. OPTIONS: Analog output system; biosignal sensors; wireless USB trigger module; tethered trigger module. DIMENSIONS: 140 x 71 x 40 millimeters. WEIGHT: 375 grams.
