Picture of MAGICWHEELS MAGICWHEELS are two-gear wheelchair wheels designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities or spinal cord injury. Low gear requires half the effort of standard pushing for climbing hills, ramps, curb cuts, or door thresholds. When going downhill, only half the force is needed for stopping. The user engages low gear with a click of the hub. When not in low gear, the user applies the same level of force as with a standard wheelchair wheel. In low gear, an automatic hill-holder prevents a wheelchair from rolling backward as the user climbs to the top of an incline. Each wheel is made of carbon fiber composite. A variety of handrims are available. MAGICWHEELS fit quick release standard axles; a bolt on version is available. A chassis adapter is included with each pair. SIZES: The wheels can fit the following tire sizes (diameter x width): 24 x 1.375 (standard), 1, 1.5 or 2 inches. CAPACITY: 250 pounds. WEIGHT: Approximately 10 pounds. WARRANTY: 5 year limited warranty.
