The Pioneer 9 Bariatric 3 Wheel Scooter, model S337, is a heavy-duty scooter designed for outdoor use by individuals with mobility disabilities. Standard features include a front basket, front bumper, headlight, directional signals, and rear view mirror. FRAME (HxLxW): 50 x 57 x 26 inches. The ground clearance is 3.5 inches and the turning radius is 56.1 inches. Anti-tippers are standard. Color choices are red and blue. CONTROLS: Dynamic DS160A controller with automatic safety steering control. This scooter featurs an adjustable-angle tiller with key switch, horn and handle bar controls. SEAT: 20 inch wide, rotating seat with sliding adjustment. UPHOLSTERY: Contoured, padded vinyl. ARMRESTS: Padded, adjustable flip-up armrests. BRAKES: Regenerative, electromagnetic brakes. A hand safety brake lever is standard. WHEELS: One 12.5-inch front pneumatic tire and two 10-inch rear pneumatic tires. POWER: Uses 2 rechargeable Group 24, 70Ah batteries. An off-board battery charger is included. SPEEDS: 9.6 miles per hour for a range of up to 15 miles per charge. CAPACITY: 450 pounds. WEIGHT: 266 pounds with batteries. The batteries weigh 43 pounds each. WARRANTY: 1 year (excluding batteries).
