Picture of KID K'NEX EARLY LEARNING ACTIVITY SET (MODEL 78950) The Kid K’NEX Early Learning Activity Set, model 78950, is an eye hand coordination activity designed for use by children with varying manipulative skills. The set includes enough big, soft, chunky pieces for 30 students. The included activities incorporate listening skills, following directions, art, creative play, mathematics and science. In conjunction with the reading of Eric Carle’s book The Very Hungry Caterpillar, or another book about caterpillars, students build models using the full color building instructions included. Additional ideas for activities are included. The activities can be structured so students take the models home at the conclusion of instruction or the materials can be collected for use with multiple classes. This set includes parts and instructions to build 30 Kid K’NEX Buddy models and 30 caterpillar models; reproducible Butterfly coloring pages; and Certificates of Imagination.
