------- "DO IT YOURSELF" ENTRY ------- PURPOSE: Bath sponge on a long handle for a person with limited reach. Handled sponge made of a strip of 1/2 by 1/8 inch aluminum of whatever length is needed, two pieces of 3/8 by 1 by 4 inch wood for a handle, and a sponge (2 by 3 by 5 inches). The wood is grooved to fit the strip, and glued on; the sponge is cut in half and glued together over the other end of the strip, which can be bent to suit individual needs.
