Picture of PARSONS ADJUSTABLE BOOK BUDDY (MODEL 16H153) The Parsons Adjustable Book Buddy, model 16H153, is a bookholder designed for use by individuals with upper extremity disabilities or who spend long periods reading in bed. This bookholder assists persons having difficulty holding a book or magazine in an open position. The frame is made of epoxy-coated stee tubing and the unit has a clear Lexan reading platform with an adjustable ledge. It comes with an elasticized strap to hold the book open to the desired page. The ledge and the angle are fully adjustable by loosening two tube clamps. DIMENSIONS(HxW): The unit is 21 x 26.5 to 28.5 inches. The bookholder is 11 x 15 inches. The ledge is 2 inches.
