Picture of TAPSPEAK CHOICE TapSpeak Choice is a symbolic, direct selection and scanning communicator program for people with cognitive, communication, or speech disabilities or autism. The program allows the user to create and use communication boards with 1 to 56 buttons on a touchscreen. It supports creation and editing of communication boards by dragging and dropping images from the DynaVox/Mayer-Johnson PCS library, the user’s photos or images, or geometric symbols and associating those images with words or phrases from the pre-recorded audio libraries or recordings made by the user. For users with motor skills that make it necessary to use a switch, TapSpeak Choice supports using the iPad screen as a switch for scanning as well as iPad Cordless Super-Switch and iPad Switch Interface (see separate entries) from RJ Cooper for external switches. One or two switches can be used for auto scanning and step scanning, and the user can choose from a variety of scanning options. The tap/touch response is also configurable to accommodate users with varying motor skill levels. COMPATIBILITY: For use with the Apple iPad. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: Apple iOS 4.2 or later.

Notes: This product is sold through the App Store on Apple iTunes. ** iPad and iTunes are registered trademarks of Apple Inc.
