Audible Digital Audiobooks are recorded books designed for use by individuals who are blind or have low vision. Over 27,000 titles are available, including abridged and unabridged books, radio shows, audio magazines, and daily newspapers. To protect copyrighted material, books and other items are presented in a proprietary digital format that prevents a customer from passing along duplicated digital audio files to another listener. Audio titles can be downloaded and played on a PC using Apple iTunes, Microsoft Windows Media Player, or Audible's AudibleManager software. AudibleManager can also be used to burn titles to a CD, or transfer them to an AudibleReady mobile device such as iPod, Palm OS handheld, Pocket PC, BookCourier, or other devices. Book categories include Arts & Entertainment, Biographies & Memoirs, Business, Children & Young Adults, Classics, Comedy, Education, Fiction, Great Speakers & Storytellers, History, Languages, Mystery, Nonfiction, Religion & Spirituality, Romance, Science, Science Fiction & Fantasy, Self Development, Sports, Technology, and Travel & Adventure.

Notes: AudibleListener, BasicListener, and PremiumListener are trademarks, and AudibleReady and AudibleManager are registered trademarks, of Audible, Inc. ** Users may join a monthly membership plan called AudibleListener. The BasicListener plan ($14.95 / month) entitles the member to one audiobook and one audio magazine, newspaper, or radio program per month, and the PremiumListener plan (21.95 / month) entitles the member to any two digital audiobooks each month.
