It features a color autofocus camera; an XY table with ball bearing movement and resistance braking; audible feedback; and illumination from light emitting diodes (LED). The Insight 1808 does not include a monitor, but it offers VGA, S Video and RCA composite video outputs so that is compatible with CRT or flat screen televisions or computer monitors. It magnifies images between 2 and 65 times their original size and has a field of view of 4.25 inches. There are large, backlit buttons that control zoom, viewing mode and brightness. Viewing modes include color, high contrast black and white, and high contrast white and black. The XY tray opens upward to reveal a storage compartment. OPTIONS: Available with the Effects Package (EP) that includes window shading, line markers and color pallets. POWER: Uses 100-240 volt AC; 50-60 hertz. DIMENSIONS (HxWxD): 13 x 19 x 18 inches. The transportation carton measures (HxLxW) 16 x 23 x 23 inches. WEIGHT: 18 pounds. WARRANTY: 2-year limited warranty.
