(Verified 11/2000) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. ---The SafeTek Safety Support Angle Bars are wall-mounted grab bars designed to provide horizontal and vertical support to persons who may need assistance with balance while walking, getting into or out of the bath/shower, and sitting or standing from the toilet. The bars are "L"-shaped with three mounting points and have a textured surface to reduce slippage. The units are made of thermoplastic, a non-conductive, non-porous material that is mildew growth and bacteria resistant. Fastening hardware for wood is included, but suitable wall blocking is required for installation. It also includes a choice of brackets: circle, square or diamond. DIMENSIONS: Bars come in a variety of sizes with circumferences of 1 to 1.5 inches, horizontal lengths of 16 to 24 inches, and vertical lengths of 24 to 36 inches, but the bars may be cut to any length and custom dimensions are available at no extra charge. WEIGHT: 1.7 to 4.8 pounds each unit. COLOR: Available in a variety of colors. GUARANTEE: Five years.
