The Maitre D'oor is a powered sliding door operator designed for use by individuals with upper extremity, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or spinal cord injury. This unit fits most sliding doors and can be used on existing doors with right- or left-hand openings. Features include six door speeds, six delay settings to adjust the time the door stays open before closing, a closing signal to alert to door closing, a doorbell for use when the door is in locked mode, and remote echo to alert to someone entering or exiting. The system also has a teach cycle, during which the unit's microprocessor learns the specific characteristics of the door being operated, including the force required to open and close the door, friction at the door seal to ensure a tight close, and power limits for speed, closing force, and auto reverse. The unit also features auto reverse that automatically reverses the door operation and sounds an alarm when an obstacle is encountered during opening and closing. Two lock modes restrict entry and exit. The basic package includes the Maitre D'oor operator and a main keypad. The door button on the main keypad opens the door from the inside; a second means of opening the door from the outside is required, but not included. The standard package includes the door operator and two sensor mats which activate the door when stepped upon for hands-free operation. The deluxe package includes the door operator and two motion/threshold sensors which activates the door when presence is detected for hands-free operation.. OPTIONS: Motion/presence sensors, sensor mats, finishing kit, tilting door bracket for use on doors with the glass door on the outside and a screen on the inside, keycode keypad, key fob with miniature transmitter to open the door, and transmitter buttons. POWER: Uses standard household current. DIMENSIONS (DxHxL): The 3-foot version is 3 x 3.25 x 54 7/8 inches. The 4-foot version is 3 x 3.25 x 66 inches. The 3-foot version fits door openings up to 31 inches and the 4-foot version fits openings 32 to 42 inches wide. The sensor mats are available in either 18 x 24 inches or 24 x 30 inches. COLOR: The door system is white and the mats are black. WARRANTY: 3 years.
