(Verified 02/2009) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Modular Tiles are nonslip floor coverings designed to turn wet surfaces into dry walkways that are safe, sanitary, and easier to clean. The tiles may be used at pools, in showers, kitchens, boats, saunas, locker rooms, workout areas and other locations. The tiles raise foot traffic above the slippery surface. An open grid design provides maximum drainage and allows aeration to prevent moisture and odor buildup, and also helps to retard the spread of infectious mold, mildew, and bacteria. The tiles may prevent tripping from uneven or cracked floors by covering them with a uniform surface. Edge ramps attached to a covered area form a safety border to create a smooth transition from floor to mat. The tiles are made of non-porous recycled PVC plastic which is resistant to stains and burns. To clean, they may be hosed down, moped, or vacuumed. INSTALLATION: The modular design allows the creation of a surface for any length, width, or shape. The tiles snap together, and PVC cement may be used for a permanent fit. The tiles may also be trimmed to any angle. DIMENSIONS: Each tile comes 12 x 12 inches; beveled edges are 2.5 x 12 inches; corner bevels are 2.5 x 14 inches. COLOR: Black, light gray, red, orange, yellow, blue and green are standard; designer colors of light blue, teal, purple, and magenta are also available.
