ResidentCare Nurse Call + is a call system and emergency alert system designed for use by seniors or individuals with disabilities living in a nursing home. The system allows the user to activate an existing "pull cord" nurse call system through a wireless transmitter. Transmitters are wearable and come in pendant or wristwatch styles. The receiver uses a 433.92 megaHertz (MHz) operating frequency. Transmitters have visual light emiting diode (LED) and audible status indicators. The standard kit includes a wall-mounted interface enclosure, power transformer, battery backup, wall mounting bracket and hardware, and one wearable transmitter convertible watch/pendant with neck cord and wristband. OPTIONS: Sip and Puff or pillow switch activators. POWER: Uses Class II, 9-volt direct current (VDC), 300mA, 60 Hertz (Hz) transformer. It also uses a 9-volt rechargeable Nickel Metal Hydride (Ni-mh) battery (included) or 9-volt alkaline battery for backup. DIMENSIONS (HxLxW): Wall-mounted interface is 6 x 1.92 x 3.5 inches.
