The FreedomAlert is an emergency alert system designed for use by individuals with cognitive, balance, mobility, or severe physical disabilities or seniors. This system allows full two-way communication through the wireless pendant. This system calls up to four phone numbers programmed by the user, four programmed numbers and then 911, or 911 only. The ability to talk through the emergency pendant up to 600 feet away from the base enables the user to communicate with assistance from anywhwere in or around your home. The pendant is pacemaker safe and can be worn in the shower. The system supports a combined total of four pendants and/or optional wall-mounted communicators. The pendant does a self-check twice a day and checks in with the base. If the battery is low or a problem exists, the first contact number is called with a pre-recorded message. One pendant, a base, a lanyard, a wrist/wheelchair strap, and a belt clip are included. POWER: The base uses 120-volt alternating current (AC); four NiMh batteries (included) continuously charge in the base, providing 24 hours of standby power in the event of a power failure. The pendant uses a rechargeable lithium-ion battery (two included) for several hours of talk time and several months of stand-by. The battery not in use can be kept charged in the base. Pressing a button on the pendant provides voice announcement of battery status. OPTIONS: Additional pendants and bases and wall-mounted communicators.
