--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 10/2005) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- LIFEWATCH is a personal emergency call system. The system consists of a receiver console and a pendant transmitter. When the wearer pushes the pendant button a signal is sent to the receiver console. The receiver then automatically places a phone call to the LIFEWATCH monitoring station which will send medical, police or fire emergency services after determining the situation. The pendant can transmit a signal up to 200 feet away from the receiver.
