« Previous Product Next Product »--- DISCONTINUED. RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Remote control flashing light signal. Microphone picks up the signal from a smoke alarm in the magnitude of 70 decibels (frequency range of 600 HZ to 3500 HZ) and activates an electronic component that turns on the light. Only operable during hours of darkness. Since 70 decibels are common to some daytime sounds (vacuum, radio, etc.) a photoelectric cell deactivates the circuit during daytime to avoid undesired operation. Sound sensoring circuit is automatically re-armed by the photoelectric cell. Light fixture control must always be in the "no" position. Special universal adapter permits setting to be maintained regardless of type of switch (rotary or pushbutton, in the socket, lampbase or line cord). May be used for normal illumination via on off switch in Microlert. 110 volt.
