Picture of CABLE-WAITER The Cable-Waiter is a dumbwaiter designed for use by individuals with mobility disabilities. Available with wood, steel, or stainless steel cars, this unit carries cargo such as groceries, laundry, or household supplies up to 50 feet with up to six stops. The unit has momentary contact call/send push button controls at each landing and travels at 30 feet per minute. This dumb waiter is available with a carrying capacity of 50 or 100 pounds. A roll top gate and shelf are standard on the wood car version. Metal cars offer steel shelves and a bi-parting gate. All versions come with call-send stations. Safety features include a slack cable monitoring device, car safeties, and a top final limit switch. OPTIONS: Car shelves; car light; Car Here indicator; In Use indicator; access door; and hoistway doors. Metal cars are available in custom sizes. POWER: Uses 115 volts. DIMENSIONS: The loading height is at least 30 inches.
