(Verified 12/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Waupaca Custom-Ryde Hydraulic Elevator is an elevator and home elevator designed for use by people with mobility limitations. The elevator provides up to 6 stops or 50 feet of travel, and is available in 4 cab models. The cabs feature hand-finished wood or textured wall panels with solid hardwood trim on a steel frame. Units come standard with traction steel cables and steel guide rails; microprocessor controller; call buttons at each floor; cab controls with landing buttons, cab light switch, an alarm button, and a stop button; an electrically-switched collapsible metal or accordian gate with extended gate tracks; hoistway door interlocks to prevent operation if doors are not closed and secured; and a safety descent to the lowest landing in the event of a power failure. The manufacturer states that the unit is virtually silent and makes extremely gentle starts and stops. OPTIONS: A power gate is available. POWER: The unit has a constant displacement rotary screw-pump motor, with an oil reservoir, a hydraulic control unit, and an oil level gauge. SPEED: 30 feet per minute. CAPACITY: 700 pounds. DIMENSIONS: Cab dimensions are 50.25 x 38.5 inches. WARRANTY: The manufacturer provides a one-year limited warranty on materials and workmanship from date of installation.
