--- DISCONTINUED. (Verified 12/2008) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Wheelchair-compatible Lift is a home elevator and elevator designed for use by people using wheelchairs. The Lift, available in winding-drum or hydraulic models, is a small enclosed elevator that can provide access for up to 5 floors or 50 feet of travel, making it suitable for use in churches and other buildings. Both models come standard with key operation, a door at each access level, an accordian gate on the cab, and an emergency light in event of power failure. An emergency handcrank is provided with the winding-drum unit, and emergency lowering is provided on the hydraulic unit. OPTIONS: An emergency signal bell or phone is available. SPEED: 30 feet per minute. CAPACITY: The Lift is available in 500-, 750-, and 1000-pound capacities. DIMENSIONS: 32 x 54 inches.
