Picture of SIMPLICITY WHEELCHAIR LIFT RAMP The Simplicity Wheelchair Lift Ramp is an exterior wheelchair lift and ramp designed for use by individuals with lower extremity, mobility, or neurological disabilities, cerebral palsy, or spinal cord injury and others who use wheelchairs. When not in use, the unit acts as a ramp to facilitate entry and exit from a doorway that is 12 to 24 inches above the ground. To enter the doorway, the user wheels onto the ramp and applies the wheelchair's brakes. When the device is activated, it raises the lower end of the ramp until it is level with the entryway. To exit, the ramp is lifted to the full horizontal position, the user wheels onto the flat platform and applies the wheelchair's brakes, and then the end of the platform is lowered to ground level so the user can roll off. This ramp/lift fits existing steps, porches or stoops without modification. It is constructed of heavy-duty structural steel and fully-welded steel tubing. A single activation button is located on the arm at the bottom of the ramp, and a second button in the remote control unit that is supplied with each lift. The remote control uses a standard electronic transmitter and receiver, and it can be attached to the wall in the entry way. Stop plates at the end of the ramp are activated when the control button is pressed. When the wheelchair ramp is elevated, the space exposed underneath is covered by an end guard. To prevent any mishaps in case pets or objects move under the lift, motion is halted if any movement is detected by the photo-electric eye cells on the legs of the Lift Ramp. The ramp platform includes solid side guards. With the optional removable dolly wheel system, the unit can be moved to alternate locations and plugged into any standard household electrical outlet. OPTIONS: higher lift capacity; 90 degrees platform; handrails; weather canopy; bridge plates; dolly system for rolling the ramp into position. POWER: Uses a standard 115 volt AC outlet. DIMENSIONS (LxWxH): 96 x 45 x (12 to 24) inches. The ramp height is factory set. CAPACITY: 500 pounds. WEIGHT: 450 pounds.

Notes: The manufacturer offers a buy back agreement if the unit is no longer needed.
