(Verified 08/96) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Evac/Ramp is a ramp for commercial busses designed to be an emergency exit route for wheelchair users or senior citizens when the power lift is inoperable. The ramp has a patented folding design which quickly extends into a ramp or stairs for safe exits from busses. The ramp adapts public transportation services to conform to assisted wheelchair access. The unit folds accordian- style for storage. A mounting plate secures the unit to the bus and holds the ramp in place. DIMENSIONS: 112 inches extended, 26.5 inches when folded. 26 inches of usable ramp surface width. CAPACITY: 650 pounds. WEIGHT: 135 pounds.
