Picture of NEASY SWING AWAY AUG COM MOUNTING SYSTEM The NEasy Aug Com Swing Away Mounting System is a wheelchair mounting kit for communicators or lapboard mounting hardware designed fo use by individuals who use wheelchairs. This compact, heavy-duty modular mounting system for small to large devices or trays can be released and swung away by the user with only one or two pounds of pressure. Each swing away joint automatically locks into position with a stainless steel, spring-loaded pin at 0 degrees, 90 degrees (optional), and 180 degrees (optional). This pin-locking mechanisms is both automatic and positive and will not release on its own, but when the user needs to swing it away, it only takes between one and two pounds of force to release and swing away horizontally. When released, an industrial roller bearing allows the mechanism to pivot almost effortlessly until the pin automatically finds its next locking position.
