(Verified 3/93) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Buddy System is a swing-away wheelchair mounting system for portable computers, communication boards, and other devices which are used in front of a wheelchair occupant. This device has no "clutch" mechanisms or other parts which can wear out. The construction consists of stainless tubing and aircraft quality aluminum joints. All joints are machined parts with a blue anodized finish. POSITIONING: The table may be positioned for optimum height, angle, lateral position, and forward/aft position. Table locks in both the laptop and swing-down positions. The Buddy System can be used on either side of the chair or moved from one chair to another. WARRANTY: Warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for one year from date of purchase, including all parts and labor required to return defective products to serviceable condition.
Notes: The Buddy System is adaptable to most commercially-available communication and computer access systems, and to most wheelchairs.
