The ModularHose.com Assistive Technology Double Spring Clamp Kit, model 90674, is a stand for a tablet computer, a computer or communicator mounting kit for wheelchair, or switch mounting hardware designed for use by individuals with use of only one hand, mobility, lower extremity or upper extremity disabilities, or spinal cord injury. This kit can be used to mount and position a switch, tablet computer, communicator, or a variety of other assistive products. The kit includes a 4 x 6 inch plate, a 3M Dual Lock, 2 spring clamps with integrated fixed mount, 2 segments of Loc-Line 0.75-inch ID hose (1.5 feet long), and a Y-fitting for connecting the Loc-Line segments to form a bridge. The clamps are connected to each of the hose segments and fastened onto a table or the frame or armrests of a chair or wheelchair. The other ends of the hose segments are connected at the Y fitting, and the mounting plate and iPad holder are fixed to the Y fitting and positioned for optimum use. The clamps are not designed to be attached to vinyl or cloth surfaces or any surface that can be scratched or marked. The clamps apply a large amount of pressure for holding purposes and may scratch surfaces. . The kit comes preassembled and ready for use. CAPACITY: 1.5 pounds. WEIGHT: 2 pounds.
