(Verified 07/2006) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- The Attainment Five Talker and Five Talker Plus are a direct selection communicator designed to be used for both communicating and speech training for individuals with a speech disability or who need help remembering daily tasks. You can easily store messages that mimic the speaker's voice. Simply record and re-record as necessary. The Five Talker recorde up to five messages with 32 seconds total memory, 6.4 seconds per message. The Five Talker Plus has a significant amount of memory, with two minute capacity or 24 seconds per message. This is ideal in situations where longer messages are necessary such as work place instructions, homework assignments, telling a story or joke. The Talker has inserts that slide into a transparent sleeve allowing you to match pictures or word prompts to the messages, thus indicating to the user the meaning of the message. Use the marking set (included) to add, erase or change details, or use stickers (not included) (see separate entries). POWER: Comes with a nine volt battery. OPTIONS: Clip n' Go cases for transporting are available for these models for $49.00. WEIGHT: Both models are 8.2 ounces.
