Picture of ULTIMATE 8 (MODEL 28020) The Ultimate 8, model 28020, is a direct selection communicator designed for use by individuals with communication disabilities. This portable device utilizes digitized speech and offers direct selection of eight, four-second messages. Messages are recalled by touching the corresponding space on the keypad and overlays may be inserted for message identification. This device also offers built-in switch access for four messages. Other standard features include an on/off switch, message retention during battery changes, and volume control. Made of an aluminum alloy, this unit resists dropping, mishandling, and moisture. POWER: Uses four double-A batteries (included). OPTIONS: A carrying case is available. DIMENSIONS:6.5 x 3.5 x 1.25 inches. WEIGHT: One pound.
