The Circline Magnifier Lamp, models 8MC-100, 8MC-150, 8MC-200, 8MC-250, and 8MC-300, is a magnifying lens with light designed for use by individuals with low vision. The crown-optical glass lens is encircled by a 22-watt circline fluorescent tube (included) that sheds even, shadow-free light. The lens and lamp are mounted on a desk stand (8MC-100), a hinged arm with clamp (8MC-150 and 8MC-200), or a hinged arm on a rolling floor stand (8MC-250 and 8MC-300). All models are available with either a 3-diopter (+75% magnification, focal length 13 inches) and 5-diopter (+125% magnification, focal length 8 inches) factory-installed lens. OPTIONS: "Add-A-Lens" for use with 3-diopter lens to make 11-diopter lens system (+275% magnification, focal length 3.75 inches); polycarbonate plastic shield to cover circline fluorescent tube. DIMENSIONS: Lens is five inches in diameter. COLOR: Black, white, almond, or dove gray.
