(Verified 02/2010) RETAINED IN DATABASE FOR REFERENCE. --- Cotton Tales, Cotton Plus and Cotton Works are reading and writing tutorial programs designed to teach the fundamentals of word processing with the help of pictures for children in pre-school through the third grade. Along with the Cotton Plus and Cotton Works software, Cotton Tales is designed with a 616 word dictionary; 352 colorful graphics; 56 prepared worksheet grids; and a picture-to-word translator. There is also the option of printing graphics, text or worksheets. The program also offers style options including text justification, a customized word list and a grouping option. It also features digitized speech, a TouchWindow screen, and the user can save their work. The program also comes with English and Spanish user and teacher guides. COMPATIBILITY: Macintosh, Apple and MS-DOS. The program is also compatible with Spanish keyboards. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: For Apple, the program requires 48K; for MS-DOS version, 128K is needed. OPTIONS: Spanish MS-DOS version is available.
