Circletime Tales is a language tutorial program designed to promote social interaction through computer animated stories and songs for children with physical or cognitive disabilities. It is a collection of three "hand-play" nursery rhymes using rhyming and repetition to teach basic concepts such as up and down, colors and counting. The program is constructed to work with Macintosh's Switch Interface or TouchWindow (see separate entry), a single switch, or a standard mouse; these controls allow the user to turn the story's pages. The program is available in a disk-based version for Macintosh (1.4MB) for $59.00. Learning materials are also available separately for $29.00. COMPATIBILTY: Macintosh LC or higher. SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS: System 6.0.7 or higher; 4 MB RAM minimum; 256 bit color monitor; hard disk.
